Supply Chain and Packaging Engineer

• Conceive and realize the most suitable supply chain organization & packaging means in respect of company standards, Quality Mindset and adhere to Manufacturing convergence Indicators
• Functionally she/he belongs under the leading of Supply Chain & Packaging Group Leader and hierarchically to Manufacturing Project Manager
• Participate in the analysis of the new products/projects conception plans to define the logistics organization and packaging means for all processes respecting company standards.
• Participate on quantification of project budget with estimating the logistics and packaging means budget for the new products/projects.
• Take part in the analysis of the new products conception plans for supply chain and packaging means
• As part of project team conceives and develops the logistic organization for inbound flow, internal flow, outbound flow (both physical and information wise) in the respect of company standards, cost, Quality Mindset and Safety.
• As a part of project team conceives and develops the functional specifications elaboration for semi-finished packaging means, final packaging mean and all other in project perimeter defined parts, the industrial organization related to packaging mean considering the product constraints, in collaboration with
  all the parties involved (core team, internal, plant, supplier, customer, etc.).
• Creates logistics specifications for all supply chain flows
• Responsible for the supply chain physical flow calculation
• Defines optimum stock levels at each step of the process, out of concern for optimization of the stock coverage
• Guarantees “Expertise métier SC” and implements POMS standards and Supply Chain standards within project team. Takes part in the elaboration of planning „métier”.
• Takes part in the choice of logistics sites and validates the industrial plans.
• Ensure IT/IS development is in line with project/Customer’s requirements
• Conceive the packaging processes from functional specificatio
• Take part in the packaging means STANDARD specification elaboration and follow-up.
• Make supplier consultations for packaging means
• Establish documentation relative to packaging means
• Establish the technical-economical reviews to propose better solutions
• Realize (cardboard packaging) or get studied and realized (durable packaging) the prototypes and series packaging means.
• Ensure fine tuning of the packaging means and track the packaging timing to enable purchasing to ensure on time availability of packaging means for the trials, pre-series and serial production
• Ensure customers approval for customer flow packaging and takes actions till objectives are met
• Delivers all project deliverables on time according Optimap timing
• Take part in the evolution of the whole contractual documentation internally and with external partners
• Cooperation in the capitalization of metier related actions
• Take part in the research new solutions and its implementation in both supply chain and packaging metier
• Supporting and running the productivity improvements actions

• Minimum 3 years experience from Operative Logistics, Change Management and Project Developement
• Experience in monitoring stock levels
• Experience in cooperation with suppliers
• Experience in managing the logistics budget
• Experience in designing and selecting packaging
• Experience with the analysis of the new products/projects conception plans to define the logistics organization and packaging means
• English B2
