- Support regular people & team management administration tasks
- Lead on technology engagements with new and existing product consumers, setting realistic expectations alongside wider delivery commitments and support the established market activation process
- Be part of the front door process for all feature requirement asks coming into the team – understanding what can and can’t be built
- Manage resource gaps and changes required to improve productivity and resilience
- Work closely with the Program & Delivery Manager and SVS Tech Lead to ensure technical requirements are practical and deliverable
- Work closely with engineering leads and architects across Company and externally, to solve problems using technology which is available and approved. But also identifying new technologies and working with governance to get this
technology approved, which will improve solutions we develop or buy - Facilitating the team to self-organise; enabling continuous improvement of change and run activities, aligned to the product roadmap and customer expectations
- Responsible for the coaching and coordinate responsibilities that enable Agile delivery, including facilitating team meetings such as retrospectives, reviews, and planning events
Requirements
- Significant proven people & team management experience in a technology team
- Proven delivery management experience, especially in a large, complex organisation
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Strong ability to consume a lot of information and focus on the right detail
- Very strong ability to context switch at ease between different areas of the delivery lifecycle, across different teams and time scales
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial acumen
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to wide groups of people across multiple seniority levels
- Must be able to influence easily and gain buy-in without alienating others
- Comfortable to be challenged by Senior Stakeholders on their own recommendations and justify their decisions
- Comfortable to challenge others and be very data driven in your approaches/decision making
- Ability to bring people on the journey with you (‚sell the strategy’)
- Strong Technical background preferable using latest technologies (Cloud, API development)
- Understand & proven practice of Agile technology delivery
