Subcontract Manager

• Be the contact of Subcontractors for Contractual matters
• Collect data for issuing progress of the works, with Construction disciplines (e.g. from Subcontractors’ reports, approved by Construction disciplines) + record the progress vs subcontract Bills of Quantities.
• Analyze and approve Extra-works, quantity variations and claims. Record all extra works in BoQ formats. Periodically (at least once a month) prepare Change orders, which cover all extra-works over the period or separate COs for each change of scope.
• Prepare reporting and Monthly Forecast of Construction Cost and review with Project Manager (e.g. based on contractors monthly reports with a forecast).
• Prepare Monthly Acceptance for payment of Subcontractors (ensure that payments are only made for works/scope agreed in a subcontract or COs/additional agreement with extra works)
• Manage Contractual communication with Subcontractors
• Plans and develops contract and claim management strategies during project execution
• Informs and mentors project team members on contractual requirements (notifications, alerts etc.)

• Strong negotiator, Pragmatic, Proactive, client – 3/4 LVL
• Education: Master’s degree in Sciences, Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects as Subcontract Manager
• English B2
