Fire & Gas Detection (FGDS) and Telecommunication Systems Engineer

• Preparation and issuance documentation, as: Instrument Lists, Block Diagrams, Duty Specification for FGDS and Telecommunication ( Communication and Radio Systems, Video Monitoring Systems, Telephone, access control and LAN system) systems , Location Drawings for detectors and warning strobes & horns;
• Preparation of Inquiry packages for FGDS and Telecommunication Vendors, Technical negotiations & clarifications, Bid comparisons;
• Coordination of Detail Engineering with selected Vendor, incl. review and approval of documentation, taking part in conf-calls;
• Interdisciplinary coordination with Process, Electrical & Instrumentation Departments and Procurement;
• Coordination and clarifications with Clients;
• Technical Inspections at Vendors` workshops;
• Participation in commissioning and start-up of FGDS and Telecommunication system.

• Master’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical or Telecommunication;
• More than 5 years experience in a plant engineering company as Instrumentation, Electrical or Telecommunication engineer;
• Ability to work independently on the preparation of proposals and execution of projects for FGDS/Telecom/CCTV for domestic and international Projects;
• Fluent in Polish and English, knowledge of German / Russian or other languages would be appreciated;
• Knowledge of Fire Detection & Gas Detection technology
• Computer skills, knowledge of applications such as MS Office, A-CAD, use Smart Plant Instrumentation, SmatPlant 3D would be appreciated;
• Eager to work in a multi-cultural team, willing to travel short term (1-2 weeks per mon) to participate in inspections at vendor facilities and construction sites worldwide;
• High interpersonal skills.
