Celestia’s Lemongrass upgrade introduces 1-click Tia interactions, Interchain accounts, and a new upgrade mechanism.
In August, Mocha Testnet and Mainnet Beta will both activate after the Lemongrass upgrade on Arabica Devnet.
In a tweet, Celestia announced its first major upgrade, Lemongrass, which is expected to include various upgrades and new capabilities for the network. This upgrade was designed and coordinated in close consultation with the community, demonstrating Celestia’s dedication to decentralized collaboration.
One of Lemongrass’s most prominent features is the addition of 1-click Tia interactions with other IBC chains and Interchain accounts. In addition, a new upgrading method will be introduced, making future updates more manageable.
