Your challenges
- Understand the fx position process including how it is captured in PC & how it will be shared with Traded Risk
- Liaise with, and educate, Traded Risk on PC business processes w.r.t. fx position and fx P&L
- Analyse P&L Explain data exceptions and determine their causes
- Improve governance of adjustments made by Product Control by: analysing adjustments and the capture of root cause information; working with PC to improve the quality of the data captured when they make adjustments; developing improved tooling to visualise
& simplify adjustment review routines - Manage the resolution of data exceptions, including: documentation of requirements; agree with other stakeholders solutions to meeting the requirements; Testing; Go-live support
Requirements
- Prior working knowledge of Markets and Securities Services via
line role experience - Part qualified accountant (desirable) with a strong knowledge of
Global Market Products and behaviours - Project Delivery experience of at least two years (either through line role, or as part of project team), preferably with some hands-on experience in delivering projects aimed at improving data quality & governance and documenting data lineage
- A solid understanding of Project Lifecycle, preferably with a
qualification - Strong analytical skills, problem solving and an attention to
detail - Experienced in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and produce clear project artefacts
- Ability to work both autonomously and to contribute to a team
- Self-motivated with a proven rapid learning capability in a changing environment
- Delivery focused with attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to a high standard of quality
- ‘Can do’ attitude – willing to turn a hand to whatever task is required and support the team
- Able to build relationships and influence others, including business heads, senior managers, third party consultants, technical experts and business users
- Shows willingness and potential for increasing their responsibilities within the team
